The type of session you are envisioning will need the perfect location. I have put together a few locations for you to gather inspiration.
BOTANICAL GARDENS

This is one of my favorite locations especially in spring and summer when the flowers are in full bloom! It would also be a gorgeous location for your fall session.
SCHLITZ AUDUBON NATURE CENTER
Address: 1111 E Brown Deer Rd, Bayside, WI 53217
*There is a required admission fee. You can read more about that here. The hours do vary and may close early depending on a weekday vs weekend.
This is a great location for summer, fall and even the winter. Tall grasses with lots of greenery and wildflowers.
VIRMOND PARK
10606 N Lake Shore Dr, Mequon, WI 53092
This is a great location for summer and fall. In the fall you will see beautiful tall grasses, wildflowers and paths to walk around. Come winter the beautifully lined pine trees make a stunning backdrop with the winter snow.
COVERED BRIDGE
1784 Covered Bridge Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012
A great landmark location with the covered bridge as a backdrop. This a great spot for spring, summer and fall. This is a great location for an evening session.
DOCTORS PARK
Address: 1870 E Fox Ln, Fox Point, WI 53217
The long beaches of Milwaukee perfect for the very early morning (think 6:00am) and sunset strolls. This is a great location for summer and fall.
GRANT PARK BEACH
Address: 100 Hawthorne Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172
This beach was so easy to access and was huge! We found some tall sea grass that added some variety to our session. This is a great location for summer and fall.
GRANT PARK

Gorgeous in the fall and summer, this was such an easy location to walk around. This is a great location for summer and fall. I recommend this location for an evening session.
ATWATER BEACH
N Lake Dr, Shorewood, WI 53211
There is a bit of a walk down a winding path, but is sure is worth it! The boardwalk, winding path and long beach give so much versatility to your session. The sunsets and skyline is stunning. One of my favorite locations, and is a great all year long!
LION’S DEN
511 High Bluff Dr, Grafton, WI 53024
Such a beautiful park with so much to offer. This park is so large with access to the beach with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. There is a bit of walking but so worth it. One of my favorite locations, this is a great all year long, even the winter!
RETZER NATURE CENTER
S14 W28167 Madison St, Waukesha, WI 53188
Tall grasses, fields of wildflowers, lots of greenery make this an ideal location for a variety of looks. This location has so much to offer making it a perfect spot all year long!
Forest Exploration Center
1800 Forest Exploration Drive, Wauwatosa, WI 53226
Tall grasses, lots of greenery, gorgeous skyline, rock path along the menomonee river make this location a top priority for me. There is so much versatility and looks that you can get from here. It is also super close to my studio so if you are thinking of a hybrid session (part studio, part outside) this would be where we go! A very easy and walkable location makes this the perfect location all year long!
NORTH POINT LIGHT
2650 N Wahl Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53211
Gorgeous architecture with some variety makes this a great location for the summer and fall!
DOWNTOWN THIRD WARD

Looking to mark your time Milwaukee or add some unexpected color to your session. Downtown Milwaukee is always a beautiful and fun location!
URBAN ECOLOGY CENTER® AT RIVERSIDE PARK
1500 E Park Pl, Milwaukee, WI 53211
Perfect location for spring, summer and fall. This is a smaller park with lots of wildflowers. I highly suggest this location for an evening session.

HARRINGTON BEACH STATE PARK
531 Co Rd D, Belgium, WI 53004
Perfect location for spring, summer and fall. This park has the versatility of a grassy field and beach all in one. Easy access to the beach with a short walk and a bathroom on site for easy outfit changes. This park does require a permit and would need to be submitted to the park at-least a week in advance. There is a small permit fee. I highly suggest this location for an evening session.
