Cake smash sessions are some of my favorites to photograph! Every baby approaches their cake differently and the images captured from their session are such treasures.
Cake smash sessions do include a complimentary cake from a local bakery. We will collaborate to design our set, choose the theme, cake design and colors. Planning for your session does take some time, so scheduling a few months prior is important.
A typical session will start with more formal photos with a coordinating backdrop matching our theme. Siblings and family are more than welcome to join in on the fun! I strive to make sure our session is smooth and easy as we all know a moving toddler will keep you on your toes. I will have several setups ready prior to your session so we can float through the session.
Cake smash sessions are included with your baby plan! If you are a baby plan client, you will receive a milestone reminder so we can start planning.
I always like to start planning for our sessions with a shared Pinterest board. This will help us narrow down ideas, themes and colors. I love to make a fun balloon garlands, get creative with crafts and get crazy with confetti. I love to think outside of the box and create something new for each session.
